Who we are and what this policy covers
This policy explains how Pop A Lime handles personal information in connection with its services in Pakistan. “We”, “us” and “our” mean the platform operator identified above. It covers visitors, supporters, creators and people who contact platform support.
Pop A Lime is operated by POPALIME, a sole proprietorship based in Karachi, Pakistan. For privacy questions, email help@popalime.com or use the Support inbox linked on this page. Payment, wallet, subscription and payout activity does not charge or transfer real money unless the service explicitly announces otherwise.
This policy concerns personal information. It does not by itself approve a payment, grant a membership, promise a refund or change a creator’s separate obligations to viewers.
Information you provide
Account information includes your email address, display name, account type, a password hash and, for creators, a public username and profile details. Operator accounts also use authenticator information. We do not need your password or authenticator code in a support message.
Support activity can include the name you submit, typed messages, voice recordings, chosen speech voice or animation gift, challenges, purchased membership tiers and perks, and your settings or consent choices. We also hold support requests, replies and the references you attach.
Transaction records include amounts, currency, status, payment references, wallet movements, subscriptions, refunds, fees, holds and payout requests. The service does not currently require real card details, bank credentials or identity documents. Do not send those through ordinary messages or support. We will explain any additional collection before introducing a real payment or identity-verification service.
Technical information and browser storage
When you use the service, we may process network addresses, browser or device information, session identifiers, sign-in times, request references, connection events and security or diagnostic records. These help authenticate accounts, limit abuse, investigate failures and operate the service.
We use cookies and browser storage for sign-in, safe continuation of unfinished actions, media caching and remembering completed overlay playback. Blocking or clearing this storage can sign you out or affect those functions.
The current app does not use an advertising-cookie or behavioural-advertising system. Other services you choose to open, including a creator’s streaming platform, have their own storage and privacy practices. We will update this notice if we introduce additional tracking purposes.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, display creator pages, process support activity, maintain accurate transaction records, deliver approved alerts, manage memberships and perks, provide receipts and support, and operate optional connected services.
We also use relevant information to moderate harmful content, prevent impersonation or fraud, enforce service rules, investigate disputes and security incidents, and meet applicable legal obligations. Access is limited according to the functions people need to perform.
We do not sell personal information or provide private messages and recordings to advertisers. Optional platform connections and recording features involve additional information only when you choose to use them.
What can become public
Creator profiles (name, tagline, profile picture and banner), the channels a creator links and their public live details (stream title, category, start time and preview image) can be visible to visitors. If a creator changes their username, their previous usernames stay reserved for their account and links that use an old username forward to their current page. The supporter name you submit, displayed amount, approved message or recording, gift and certain membership or challenge announcements may appear on the creator’s broadcast, public recent-support feed or donor leaderboard. Choosing a display alias does not remove the underlying transaction record.
Pop A Lime also ranks accounts across the platform. Rs 1 of confirmed support is 1 XP, so XP shows roughly how much someone has spent or received. A signed-in supporter’s display name, rank and XP can appear on the public supporters leaderboard, and their rank can appear next to tips they send under a name. A creator’s name, rank and XP from confirmed support received can appear on the public creators leaderboard, and their rank on their page. Anonymous tips never show a name or rank. You can hide from the leaderboards at any time in your account or in Studio settings; your rank is kept but no longer shown publicly.
Creators and authorized moderators can review submitted content before it airs. Approved recordings can be heard by stream viewers. A creator or viewer may record or redistribute the broadcast on another service; removing information from Pop A Lime does not automatically remove those independent copies.
Private account email, raw support conversations, authenticator information and private recording access are not intended for the public feed. A creator’s private paid-member list is separate from public donor rankings. Avoid putting sensitive information about yourself or another person into content intended for a stream.
Voice, speech and uploaded media
Recording starts when you use the recording control and permit microphone access. We process the submitted clip to check its format and length and prepare it for preview, review and playback. We do not continuously record your microphone. Unsubmitted or unsuccessful uploads can expire; paid recordings follow the retention and request-handling principles below.
When generated speech is enabled, typed or reviewed text and the supporter-name/amount introduction may be sent to the enabled speech provider, such as ElevenLabs. A voice preview can also require that processing. Your own recorded message is a separate audio feature; the app does not offer voice cloning or submit these recordings as voice-training material.
Uploaded animation or audio files are checked and converted before use. Unpublished animation gifts without captured purchases are restricted to authorized operators. Processed creator-uploaded alert media can be accessed by anyone with its media URL, even before broadcast use. Published or previously purchased gifts may remain playable to viewers. Do not upload content containing personal information you are not entitled to share.
Linked channels and connected accounts
Creators can link a YouTube, Kick or Twitch channel by pasting its public address. Pop A Lime does not check that a creator owns a pasted channel, and platform staff can remove a link. For a linked channel, we use the platform's public information to show whether it is live, with the stream's title, category, start time and preview image. Our servers fetch the preview image from the platform and serve it from Pop A Lime, so a visitor's browser does not contact the platform to display it. We keep only the latest live details for each channel.
If you connect a platform account, we receive the identifiers, permissions and connection information needed for the feature. YouTube and Kick connections can provide channel identity and the chat events needed to respond to supported commands. The Pop A Lime Twitch bot works in a creator's Twitch channel only after the channel owner makes it a moderator and confirms the channel by typing a code in its chat. It reads that chat only to answer supported commands and confirmation codes, and it posts approved tip announcements. Connection credentials and relevant delivery records are stored; the app does not maintain a general archive of channel chat.
YouTube features use YouTube API Services. By using them, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms), and Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) explains how Google handles your information. When a creator connects YouTube, we ask Google for read-only access to confirm the creator's channel and find its current live broadcast. The Pop A Lime bot channel uses its chat access only to post approved tip announcements and replies to supported commands. From YouTube we store the channel ID and name, the current live broadcast and live chat IDs, encrypted access tokens and records of the messages the bot sent or answered. Live chat messages are checked only for supported commands and are not stored. We do not sell YouTube data, share it with other companies, use it for advertising or use it to train AI models. Pop A Lime's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements.
You can disconnect YouTube at any time in Studio → Stream bots, which deletes the stored tokens, or revoke Pop A Lime's access in your Google account's security settings (https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions). To have other YouTube data deleted, contact us through the Support inbox.
Discord connections can link your verified Discord identity to platform memberships, synchronize eligible roles and optionally send announcements. A membership announcement can identify your linked Discord account only when the corresponding recognition option is enabled. Ordinary tips and Creator Pro do not grant Discord membership roles.
We do not receive the password you use to sign in to those platforms. You can disconnect in the relevant settings and revoke permissions at the provider. Role removal or remote cleanup may need the bot’s continued access and may not be immediate when the provider is unavailable. Each platform’s own privacy terms apply to its separate service.
When information is shared
Information is shared with the creator you support and the audience only as described above; with authorized platform staff who handle operations, moderation or support; and with enabled service providers to perform the requested function. Depending on configuration, providers can include hosting and storage, ElevenLabs for generated speech, Resend or SMTP delivery for account email, and the platforms you connect.
These recipients should receive information relevant to their function. For example, a chat announcement does not need your private support thread or recording link, and a receipt does not include your private message or recording. Providers have their own contractual and privacy terms.
Applicable Pakistan law, including the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 as amended, governs legally required preservation and disclosure. We assess valid legal requests and limit disclosure to what the law requires or permits.
Storage and processing locations
Information is held in the storage used to operate the platform and its backups. An enabled provider or future hosting service may process information outside Pakistan. We do not represent that every copy or processor is located in Pakistan.
Where another country or provider is involved, applicable transfer, security and disclosure requirements still matter. Provider and hosting details will be reviewed and this notice updated when the service’s operating arrangements change. Following a link to an independent service takes you to that service’s own privacy practices.
Protecting information
The app uses password hashing, restricted account access, separate operator permissions, authenticator checks for operators, access checks for private records and recorded administrative actions. These measures reduce risk; they do not guarantee that every system or transmission can never be compromised.
Keep your account credentials, authenticator codes and private overlay links secure. Do not share another person’s identity information without authority. If you believe your account or information has been misused, contact support without including passwords, full card details or unnecessary identity documents. We will assess reported incidents and any response or notification required by applicable law.
How long information is kept
Different records serve different purposes. Account, paid-message, membership and support records may remain available while needed to operate the service, resolve requests or disputes, maintain transaction integrity and satisfy applicable preservation duties. Temporary uploads, expired credentials and some operational records have their own cleanup processes; those processes are not a promise that all information expires at the same time.
We have not set a single automatic deletion period for every category in this service. We review retention and deletion requests against the information involved and the reason it remains necessary. Backups and third-party copies may not disappear immediately when a live record is removed.
Deletion requests are subject to applicable legal preservation duties, including any traffic-data requirements under PECA. Those requirements should not be confused with a universal retention period for every message, recording or financial record.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can choose whether to create an account, send a message or recording, use an optional connection, or enable supported recognition options. Some information is necessary for a feature to work. Disconnect controls and membership-renewal controls are available in the relevant account or Studio settings.
You may ask support about information associated with you, request correction, request a copy, or ask for removal or account closure. Use the Support inbox linked on this page and provide enough detail to identify the account or transaction. The inbox requires an account; you can create one or use account recovery if necessary. We may request proportionate ownership verification, but never your password or authenticator code.
These requests are reviewed manually. The app does not currently provide an automatic full-account export or deletion button. A request does not itself cancel a subscription, refund a payment or erase records needed for a valid legal, security or transaction purpose. We will explain the outcome or relevant limitation where we can. Nothing in this notice removes any right or remedy available under applicable Pakistan law.
Children and information about other people
The current paid-support service is intended for adults. Do not use it to expose a child’s private information or upload another person’s recording without appropriate authority.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information, contact support with the relevant account or content reference. We will review the concern and appropriate action. This notice does not claim that automated age or parental-consent verification is available.
Updates and contact
The version and effective date shown on this page identify the published policy. We may update it when service features, providers, the operator’s details or applicable requirements change. Changes are published here; a saved internal draft does not change the notice you are reading.
Use the Support inbox or email help@popalime.com for a privacy question or concern. Please do not post private account or payment details in a public livestream to request help.
If you find unclear wording, ask support for clarification. You may also use any complaint or legal remedy available through a competent authority under applicable Pakistan law.
